Tom Huisman medical expenses

On Thursday, October 12, 2023, while Tom was working at his flip house, he was painting the ceiling in the basement, where there is also a pool. He was on the skinny edge of the pool on a step stool and lost balance and fell into the empty pool. He had to then climb out of the pool on his own to call someone to help him. He was taken to the Willmar ER, where they determined he broke his femur and right wrist. He was then transferred to the St. Cloud Hospital to have surgery on his femur. He had surgery on Friday and still remains in the hospital, as he is dealing with low hemoglobin, high temps, constant nausea and dizziness. This is making his recovery process much longer than expected.

Tom is self-employed and is their sole provider. To help Tom and his family solely focus on his recovery, we are hoping to raise some funds that will be used for medical bills, food, fuel, etc. We just want to add one last thing to be mindful of- please be respectful of their privacy at this time. Jody is focused on making sure Tom is taken care of and also checking in on their kids, so reaching out to them might cause a delay in a response. Thank you!
