Help The Hunslet Club Emeralds go international!

Our very own The Hunslet Emeralds from The Hunslet Club Dance Section are taking the junior and senior pom dance squads to Germany to compete in an international dance competition this June.

Our competing dance squads have worked hard and tirelessly to rehearse and train to perfect their routines and they cannot wait to perform on an international stage representing The Hunslet Club charity and the wider South Leeds Community.

The Hunslet Emeralds are a credit to The Club and community, they compete throughout the year and have proven very successful. Their victories, passion and continuous commitment to the squad, each other and their training development and progression is inspirational to all the young dancers in our Dance Section.

We are asking for as much help as possible to get every girl on the trip no matter their financial status or caregivers situation. We are organising numerous fundraising events such as bag packing in supermarkets, car washes, sponsored activities and we are also auctioning off memorabilia in order to raise funds to cover travel and accommodation costs.

We have set up this page as a plea to members of The Hunslet Club and our wider community in Leeds and any businesses that can spare as much as possible and contribute to this cause.

At The Hunslet Club our priority is helping young people achieve their full potential. A prime example of this in action is this competition! Please dig deep and help The Hunslet Emeralds go International.

The Hunslet Club is a non profit youth organisation committed to helping young people achieve their full potential. We run 100+ activity sessions per week at an accessible rate of £1.50 per session encouraging ALL young people to stay active and engaged, develop skills and make new friends. We have an open access youth club 5 nights per week which is FREE to attend for all young people in our community.
