The funds raised will support public programming, such as panel discussions, symposium, performances, screenings, etc, that will take place in NYC during Spring/Summer 2020.
The Immigrant Artist Biennial (TIAB) is a multi-disciplinary large-scale exhibition of critically engaged contemporary art made by immigrant artists from around the world. To be presented in New York City every two years, TIAB will form a worldwide community through exhibition of ambitious visual multimedia projects, performances, and series of public events, with an aim to facilitate a diverse experimental discourse and build a globally connected, united community in a time of extreme anti-immigrant sentiment.
Established and Directed by Artist and Curator Katya Grokhovsky with the support of an-all female team, TIAB seeks to create a platform for exchange and presentation of projects by often overlooked and silenced voices, as well as to establish urgent and innovative dialogue between artists and audiences on a global stage. Your support will help us make this necessary event possible.
