Hi, my name is Shannon and I am helping to raise funds for my cousins, Liz, John, Thomas, and J.J. While Liz has found out the news no one wants to hear....stage 3 breast cancer, her husband John also received horrible news....stage 4 Sarcoma (cancer of the soft tissue). Liz discovered a lump on her breast in July of last year, had numerous appointments and finally a biopsy in January which confirmed Ductal Carcinoma. On March 29th, she had a partial mastectomy, and has just started radiation. John noticed a lump on his shoulder that had been growing rapidly. On March 10th,his MRI confirmed a large mass that covers his entire shoulder and has gone into his armpit. He has been admitted to the hospital a few times due to his AFIb heart beat,and there they found out the cancer had spread to his lungs. John will start radiation on May 11th to try to shrink the tumor in preparation for surgery on May 18th in Toronto.

Both John and Liz are no long working due to daily treatments and appointments. John will be travelling back and forth to Toronto numerous times for surgery and treatments, and Liz to London for treatments. I am asking that you consider donating to allow them to travel without having to worry about gas and meals, as they are both going through this together, with their loving sons, Thomas and J.J. This family continues to GIVE everything they have to everyone around them. They are the most loving people and would give anything and everything to others. It's time we give back to them!
