The Jacob Pierri Scholarship Fund

The Jacob Pierri Scholarship Fund was started to honor the memory of our son, Jacob Pierri, who passed away on the 24th of September 2020. The Scholarship Fund was started to celebrate and continue the many accomplishments that Jake was able to achieve in his short life by providing scholarships for college education to Cape May County students. 

Jake was Salutatorian of his High School class and went on to study at the well renowned University, Carnegie Mellon. He continued his education in mathematics at Binghamton University, and later at Lehigh University where he was pursuing his Masters. Jake spend much of his free time voluntarily tutoring; Jake loved learning and teaching and was masterful at both. Jake was also passionate about cooking… spending much of his time either cooking at our Inns or cooking at home.

Jakes kindness resonated with everyone he met. He was empathetic, brilliant, funny, comedic (he actually did stand-up comedy), and quite endearing. His many gifts and talents will live on through all the people that he touched throughout his life.

Through this Scholarship Fund, Jake will continue to contribute to help others grow and flourish through education.
