The Jade Roberts Project

Hi my name is Tracey Roberts and I am the founder of The Jade Roberts Project. The project is in honour of my beautiful daughter Jade who sadly died by suicide at the age of 26. After losing Jade to suicide I had 2 choices .One of them was to go further down and totally give up .But I went with the other choice which was to start the process of setting up the project. It has been a long and rewarding journey for me getting everything in place for the project .I signed the lease at the end of June .Alot of hard work was done refurbishing the building .New carpets, jntercom, furniture ect .I then started the process of recruiting for volunteers .I have a great team on board and we all work voluntree. At the moment we are open 3 days aweek due to funding. The project opened on the 19th November 2022 .I have taken huge risks and this has involved doing fundraising and using the funds to train the team to a very high standard. All the team are trained in ASIST .This training saves lives to suicide. We are a new organisation and rely on fundraising events to keep the project up and running paying rent, bills ect. We support men and women 18 and over who are in suicidal crisis and also support adults with mental health issues. All are services are free .We have a free counselling service and a holistic therapist on board. We rely on fundraising and donations. If anyone would like to do some fundraising please contact me. We are not asking for large amounts just enough to keep the project running. Any donations would be really appreciated. This project is so important in Liverpool .We are based in Tuebrook. The more funds we raise we can open are doors to the community 5 days a week .We are determined to break the stigma to suicide and mental health .Thankyou for reading this and for your donations.
