The Jahn Family (support for Chandler's accident)
Donation protected
On the evening of November 9, 2019, our loved one, Chandler was in a terrible accident in Richmond, Texas. After 4 days on life-support he went home to the Lord on Wednesday, November 13th surrounded by so many friends and family members. He passed away exactly 1 week before his 22nd birthday. Chandler was a dedicated college student amid his senior year, only several months away from graduation at the University of Houston. He was extremely excited about the internship that he had lined up after graduation.
We are all at a complete loss of words at this time as we process and grieve the loss of Chandler. He was an incredible and loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and the absolute best & most humble friend to so many people. Chandler’s friends and family would describe him as a "vibrant ball of energy, a lover of life, someone who inspired those around him to love life as much as he did, the biggest optimist and one who has a contagious smile on his face always." Chandler was a friend to anyone and everyone he touched in life, and he touched so many people during the short time he was with us. This has never been more apparent than now. He put so much of himself and his love into each and every relationship in his amazing life.
Chandler was born into a family of devout Christians, who have held strongly to their faith even in this most challenging time. His father Tim is a public servant working for the City of Sugar Land. His wonderful mother Lisa is one of the most kind-hearted people you could ever meet and has struggled with MS for many years. His younger brother Brandon is a successful college student as well, and has kept up with his grades and studies even while coping with the loss of his older brother and best friend.
We have set up this page as a way for all of us to do something that will help alleviate some of financial stress placed on the Jahn family due to this accident. There is no telling at this point what the bills will cost this family. They already had so many medical expenses on account of Lisa’s illness. Now it is our turn to give back to his family and show just how much they and Chandler meant to all of us. Please help us bless this family amid this horrible tragedy.
Chandler, you were truly one of kind and the world would be an infinitely better place with more people like you. We miss you and love you! We will do everything in our power to honor and carry on your legacy every day for the rest of our lives.
Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Rest in peace Chandler.
