THE JIM CLEARY UNSUNG HERO AWARD AT MASSBAY

Dear MassBay family,

Jim Cleary passed away on April 1, 2022; such an incredible loss for the MassBay community!

While MassBay is working on doing something official to honor Jim's memory, after talking to many of the 'Old Guard' who worked for years with Jim, we decided that we'd like to do something, too. This fundraiser is for seed money for a perpetual award that recognizes a MassBay staff member who is steady, professional, and competent despite significant personal or professional challenges.

Jim's steadfast service and excellence in his job were a balm during difficult times at The 'Bay. His quiet courage in managing his health challenges and gentleness of spirit was a constant gift to our community.

We set the goal for $2500--but I hope we kill it.
