The Joe Johnson Family Fund

Hello everyone. We started this gofundme to help the Johnson family after the passing of Joe Johnson on 29 May 2022. Joe was a loving husband, father, brother, son, uncle, cousin and friend who would move mountains to help anyone he could. He enjoyed raising dogs, had a passion for classic cars, and above all, making his family happy. He was tragically taken too soon.

Joe went to the doctors for recurring and long-lasting headaches. Unexpectedly, a CT scan revealed a mass on his brain that was later identified as IMT (Inflammatory Myofibroblastic Tumor). IMT is a rare form of cancer that affects less than 1 in a million people. The National Cancer Institute estimates that only 150 - 200 people are diagnosed with IMT annually in the US.

Joe was in the hospital for 24 days and endured 3 major brain surgeries before passing. He is a man who will be missed by many.
