Help the Johnson family during Katie's recovery

Hi, our names are Nancy and Nola Kwiatkowski. We have been friends with the Johnson family for a very long time. Katie was recently in a very serious car accident. The night of Saturday, October 28th she was a passenger in a car that hit a moose. Katie was airlifted to Essentia-St. Mary's in Duluth, MN, where she is currently still in the pediatric ICU. Katie suffered many injuries, mainly to her neck, back and spine. She has already endured one surgery, and doctors are waiting for her body to get stronger for the next one.

We are truly blessed Katie survived and that she is here with us today. Her road to recovery will be very long and we hope to raise money to help Lyle and Michelle for whatever needs arise. They have both taken time away from their jobs so they can focus on Katie. There will be expenses such as travel, lodging, medical bills, meals and basic daily needs. Our hope is that the funds raised will help alleviate some of that worry for the family.
