The Jolagh Family
There is no truer saying than “it takes a village to raise children.”
The Jolagh family needs your support during this time.
Meet Elijah (8 years), Angela (5 years) and Angel (4 years). Angel was only 5 months old when his father passed away.
Before 2013, Mr and Mrs Jolagh were living in Syria as refugees who escaped the war in Iraq and the ISIS invasion in 2010. Whilst in Syria, Mr Jolagh was assaulted which led to him becoming disabled.
In 2013 the Jolagh couple received the amazing news that they would be granted asylum to Australia. As a couple who came from a third world country and were eager to start a family in a safe and secure country, they felt as though they were 'winning the jackpot.’
The couple immigrated to Australia in 2013, and shortly after had their 3 children. After spending a short time living in Australia as a family, Mr Jolagh received devastating news and was diagnosed with cancer.
In September 2020, Mr Jolagh sadly passed away leaving Mrs Jolagh to support their 5 month old baby, 2 year old Angela and 5 year old Elijah.
Mrs Jolagh was not able to work and still isn't working because she stays at home with her three children. She finds it difficult to afford basic items and is continuously worried about whether she will be able to afford the next month's rent, her utility bills and provide food on the table.
Despite suffering great adversity, Ms Jolagh has a positive mindset and like any parent simply wants her children to be healthy and happy.
We call upon you our village to help this woman provide for her children and give her some much needed peace of mind.
Any donations big or small will help this beautiful woman and children. Thank you in advance.
