Our dad Jose León was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer this past October, this news was both heartbreaking and terrifying.
He had the tumor from his colon removed and after recovering from his surgery he began his chemotherapy treatment. Our dad was a champ through the entire process, he stayed so positive and had a lot of faith that it would all turn out okay, we all did.
Unfortunately the cancer was too aggressive and it just kept spreading so the doctors decided that the chemotherapy was no longer beneficial. Our dad is currently in hospice care at home living his final moments surrounded by so much love.
His final wish is to be buried in his hometown of Culiacán, Sinaloa,Mexico next to his father.
