Joshua Allen Carnes 32, of Hazel Park, MI passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2021 at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
He leaves behind his fiancé; Celia Rae, their three very young children; Heath, Cora & Eliza. his mother, his father and siblings. Joshua was admitted on April 15, 2021 with a single symptom. Difficulty breathing. After 2 weeks things drastically declined. He was placed on a ventilator which was of no help. After a turn of crazy and terrifying events he was placed on ECMO on May 5th (a form of life support used in open heart surgery). After 2 months of trying more life saving measures, doing procedures and running tests they discovered a terrible aneurism due to complications from ECMO. Currently the family is waiting for answers as to what happened, there is currently an autopsy underway that will hopefully provide an explanation and some kind of closure as to why 3 children no longer have their father, his parents no longer have their son, and his fiancé is left shattered and scrambling trying to make sense of everything. The family is having a really hard time understanding how they watched a 32 year old extremely healthy man, who only 2 weeks prior to going to the hospital was bench pressing 600+ lbs to now having to plan a funeral.
Joshua passed away June 18th with his fiancé and many dear loved ones by his side. You don’t need to know Josh personally to figure out what type of person he was. Just from pictures you will see a happy, devoted, and loving family man especially to his three children all under six years old. You will see the sparkle in their eyes and thr happiness radiate off of them. You also will see a special connection of two souls that were devoted to each other and their little clan. Everyone close to him are now feeling the emptiness that he once filled their hearts with. The family is missing the laughter, the funny faces, the love, the devotion and the hard working man that should be at home, and isn't.
A protector then; An angel now.
Any donation would greatly help this family through all the bumps in the road like medical bills, funeral expenses, daily living. The list goes on. Thank you for taking the time to read about Josh and thank you for any help that you have given this beautiful family of his.
