The Kadeem Buckham Scholarship honors the memory of Kadeem Buckham, a graduate of the OLS Class of 2005. Kadeem was never just some classmate or some friend, he had a way of making each person feel like family.
The mission of The Kadeem Buckham Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a student throughout his or her time at Our Lady of Sorrows School in South Orange, from the first day of kindergarten to the finals walk out the chapel doors at eighth grade graduation.
The selection process for the scholarship is simple, and involves no writing, just as Kadeem would have liked. Instead, interested families and students can apply by having the student draw a picture of his or her favorite sport. Applications will soon be open and interested applicants can find more information via the website below.
