From his wife Krista: Most have heard but Andy had an accident with some farm equipment today and cut off some fingers on his right hand. Ambulance to altoona, life flight to Pittsburgh, and surgery on his hand. We are now out of surgery and in a recovery room. They were unable to reattach any fingers but they did save/salvage a good bit so over time he will be able to use it. He is having a hard time waking up from the pain meds so they are letting him rest. I am just sitting here counting my blessings as this could have been much worse. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

This road ahead is going to be long and hard. BUT I am so very blessed to still have my husband. We are grateful it was only his fingers and not worse. Farm accidents happen so fast and some don't end quite as generously. We are happy to be home. We are blessed to live in this community where everyone cares about us. Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers. Thank you to all those who have helped us in anyway in the last 48 hours. We are forever grateful. God will see us through this.

As Andrew will not be able to work for sometime now. They will need some financial help. Please support the family if you can with prayers and any donations.
