The Kenger-Semel Family

The Kenger/Semel family has been an inspiration to many of us for a long time. Now they need our help. Mara has long battled health challenges with grace and grit and absolute dedication to her family and work-family. Her husband, Adam, has been a devoted family man. He has always balanced a full-time job in software engineering with doing the lion’s share of house and child management because of Mara's long hours. This week, while Mara was recovering from surgery herself, Adam was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer and has been hospitalized. Their world is now turned upside down with seemingly nothing but uncertainty. Support is pouring in for them from many directions, but what they also need right now are funds so that they can completely focus on one another during this time.
