Support for the Kevin Phillips Family
Donation protected
For over a year and a half, Kevin battled medical issue after medical issue including a few different cancers. Some treatments worked only to have new problems arise with new attempts at diagnoses. Hopes grew and were dashed several times until the final terminal diagnosis this past March. Five weeks later, Kevin passed away leaving behind his wife and two daughters to find their way into a life they never wanted to live, a life without Kevin in it with them.
Kevin was a strong and healthy man, a marathon runner, a skier, a sailor, an organizational effectiveness leader, Lean Six Sigma certified, and a devout Episcopalian. Kevin's passions were his family, motorcycles and cars, running, spending time at the beach, his ministry, and being a mentor to many. Kevin always said that his best measure of success was seeing those who worked for him succeed.
A year and a half of expensive doctors, procedures, medications, hospital stays, disability from work, and other life expenses has challenged the family in so many ways. House payments. Doctor bills. Hospital bills. College expenses. High School expenses. Life expenses. With no income at this time, it is difficult, but we can help.
Donations to this Go Fund Me page, which are automatically transferred every week directly to the family's bank account, are helping lift the spirits of the Phillips' family as well as allowing them to pay down their debts and plan for their future. Please give as generously as your circumstances allow. The Phillips’ Family is humbled and encouraged by your support and thanks you from the bottom of their heart.
Please note that if you wish to donate anonymously, "skip" through the sharing screens and watch for the "Hide name and comment from everyone but the organizer" button on your computer, laptop or cell. It's a little tricky ...
My story is that we, the Parrish family, met the Phillips’ when they moved to San Clemente and started attending St. Margaret’s of Scotland Episcopal Church in San Juan Capistrano. Our daughters have played together since they were little. The girls coined the name “Phillish” for our combined family and we’ve used it ever since. I am thankful for each of you doing whatever possible to help comfort and support them through this difficult time and into the life ahead of them.

Such beautiful young women, inside and out.
Young dress up gals!
The youngest taking care of her two tired fifth grade graduates
Such a handsome family
We miss you every day, Kevin.
