Hello, my name is Brooke G., with the family’s permission I am raising funds for Danea Key and her family.

On Friday, March 31st Danea and her husband Joel came over to my place for what was supposed to be our Saber Life Foundation non-profit Board meeting and dinner. Within seconds of walking through the door, Danea collapsed and lost consciousness. Thanks to the swift and valiant efforts of the Bentonville Fire Department, they were able to save Danea’s life. Upon arriving to the hospital, they found multiple pulmonary embolisms throughout her lungs and main arteries. Unable to care for her locally, she was transported hours away to a Level 1 trauma center. Although these clots were surgically removed, she is still experiencing abnormal vitals.

Danea is a miracle woman through and through - the sole provider for her family, a mother to 3 beautiful girls that each have disabilities, the President and Founder of Saber Life Foundation and now a survivor of what are typically fatal pulmonary embolisms.

Danea’s family can greatly use monetary support during this difficult time to help cover major medical bills and to provide for her family.
