The Kiln

Hi, my name is Elena. I'm a jeweler and jewelry designer, and my very special passion is the traditional art of fire enameling on silver and copper. This craft implies application of a very fine colored glass powder to metal surface with subsequent firing in a kiln at an extremely high temperature. My old kiln had served me faithfully for more than 10 years, but has finally burnt out (literally!). Can't blame it, my kiln had a long and adventurous life, may it rest in peace.

However, I have to move on, and now I need to purchase a new kiln as soon as possible. I hope that with your help I will be able to raise enough money for that and enjoy further pursuing my enameling craft. Thanks a lot!
