The Kim Boyce Jorgensen memorial
Donation protected
Kim Jorgensen and his boys Zach(24), Jorrien (18) and Carter (8) had to say good bye to their beloved wife and mother, Kim Boyce Jorgensen, on Dec. 27, 2020. They had fun with having the same first name with many nicknames; Kim -he, Kim-she (like Kim-Chi), Kimmer, Kimmi. She had an infectious laugh, care free personality, heart of gold, and loved everyone without judgement. Kim dealt with Type 1 diabetes for most of her life with a devoted husband by her side for 26 years. Kim and Kim were no strangers to high medical cost. She was often sick, but rarely complained . Even though they have battled financial medical hardship they have built an amazing life together. They worked and played hard together creating many memories mixed with health issues. This past year has been especially difficult for this family. On top of battling diabetes Kim had a stroke in the summer, diagnosed with Covid in October, just after a fun camping trip, and was very sick at home. After a few weeks they thought she was getting better and then her health worsened. Over the next few weeks she had continual hospital visits which resulted in a feeding tube and issues with a constricted esophagus, blood infections, gall bladder and liver issues, and extreme weight loss. The last hospital stay was over a week and then an emergency surgery on Christmas Night, because of a hole in her bowels which then resulted in more issues. This family has been dealt a hand of uncertainty this year. After years of dealing with diabetes and enduring the most scary and fiercest fight of her life, her body just couldn't take it any more. Kim returned to her loving Heavenly Father. This sweet family is dealing with high medical bills and now a funeral with no Life Insurance because of her diabetes. Please help lighten the load of this family so they can focus on each other and heal from the death of their amazing, loving mother and wife.
