THE KINGDOM OF MOROCCO NEEDS YOU
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Yas and I am a first generation Moroccan-Jamaican. My father was the only person in his family to get the opportunity to immigrate to the United States at 24 years old. I grew up spending every summer visiting my family in Morocco where I was exposed to the very people, foods and culture that raised me.
As some of you may have heard, Friday night Morocco was hit with a 6.8 magnitude earthquake which has left +2,000 people dead with countless injured and homeless. My heart breaks for everyone in Morocco and I know my community can do something to help.
I am starting a fundraiser for the people of Morocco. Half of whatever funds we raise will go to the orphanages which already experience extreme difficulty caring for and feeding the kids. The other half of the funds will be distributed throughout my families neighborhood in Casablanca, Morocco to purchase food, blankets and clothes for anyone in need. Receipts will be provided.
If you have the funds, please please please considering donating thank you for all the support in advance.
