The Kitten Cottage Sanctuary Needs Your Help

Hi, my name is Sonia, and I am fundraising for The Kitten Cottage Animal Sanctuary in Virginia Co Cavan, as they face their worst pet food crisis in years.

Due to rising costs in pet food and the increasing cases of cats and tiny kittens being surrendered or dumped, they need your help badly. Can you donate to relieve the suffering of these poor defenceless animals, however small, every donation can help.

Maire has run The Kitten Cottage Animal Sanctuary in Virginia Co Cavan for over 20 years. In that time, she has saved and rehomed over 11,000 cats and kittens, who would no doubt have suffered and died otherwise. The Kitten Cottage Animal Sanctuary is a small non-profit organization who receive an annual grant of 12,900 from the government. Maire has explained that it costs over 24,000 a year to run this animal sanctuary. She tries to make up the much-needed funds herself, but often runs short.

We all have experienced the wonderful joy our fur babies bring, but not all cats and kittens are so lucky to get a loving, warm home. People like Maire provide a wonderful sanctuary and service for homeless cats and kittens, and with a little help from us, we can ensure that at least, they have a bowl of kibbles.

All funds raised will go towards much needed pet food and veterinary bills.
