The Koncewicz Family

On Friday night, June 30th, our family suddenly lost a great man. Gary Koncewicz, husband to Nicole Koncewicz and father to Gabby, Brady, Cooper, and Karli, passed away after suffering a heart attack at home. Gary was the definition of a "good person." He was a tireless worker as a nurse at many Virtua Hospitals in the area, loved nothing more than to attend his kids sporting events, and most importantly, loved his family and extended family very deeply. He was an avid Philly sports fan and had uncanny knowledge of sports history.

Anyone who ever met Gary had the same feeling about him. You always found yourself saying, "Man, what a good guy Gary is." Given his occupation as a nurse, Gary often found himself assessing and then treating various medical issues in our family. His expertise and kind-heartedness never shined brighter than the months Nicole's father, Whip, was battling cancer. Having Gary there at moments notice eased everyone's mind and his mild nature always made a tough situation seem not so bad. I know Nicole, and the rest of our family, feel very blessed to have had Gary during that time.

I am creating this fundraiser to help Nicole and the rest of her family during this unforeseen and devastating time. No family is prepared for a situation like this, so we are creating this to lessen the financial burden that comes with a sudden death of a family member.
