The Kostas Morley Family

Donation protected
Kostas Morley is a newly hired Correctional Officer in Ketchikan, Alaska. His wife, Dakoda, works for Women in Safe Homes (WISH) as a domestic violence advocate.

Dakoda experienced trouble during pregnancy and started bleeding. Dakoda was life-flighted from Alaska to Seattle to save her and their unborn baby, Anies Morley. During this, Dakoda's water broke.

After two days of trying to keep baby Anies in the womb, doctors did an emergency C-section on Dakoda. Their baby, Anies, was born prematurely. Anies weighed only 2.9 pounds and was only 15 inches long.

It was discovered Anies' esophagus was not fully developed and doctors were not able to establish his airway. Anies ultimately passed away, surviving only 40 minutes.

Anies' parents, Kostas and Dakoda, have been out of work for a month, mostly without pay, due to them being newer employees without much leave time. Their family is facing a mountain of medical bills during this tragic time.

Kostas' mother is also an active law enforcement officer.

Please donate to help this family through these toughest of times to combat their medical bills and help them stay in their home with food to eat.
