Support Noah and Iolani Kuoha

Aloha family and friends,

We are reaching out to share the story of Noah Kuoha, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and the cornerstone of his ‘ohana. Noah has dedicated his life to keeping his family strong, connected, and grounded. Together with his wife, Iolani, they have raised five wonderful children and now delight in the joys of their five grandchildren.

Living on the beautiful island of Molokai comes with many blessings but also unique challenges—especially when it comes to accessing medical care. Like many Molokai residents, Noah must frequently travel to Oahu for medical appointments. Unfortunately, his health has taken a difficult turn in recent months.

Noah requires dialysis treatments and more than monthly doctor visits on Oahu. In the past two months alone, he has been medivaced three times via emergency air transport to Oahu. Most recently, on January 9, 2025, Noah was medivaced again and admitted to the ICU, where he is currently recovering from multiple severe complications.

Throughout this journey, Iolani has been Noah’s unwavering caregiver, standing by his side through every challenge. In addition to supporting her husband, Iolani is also a dedicated Hawaiian language immersion teacher, committed to preserving and sharing the culture of Hawai‘i. Despite her family leave running out, Iolani continues to teach virtual classes from the hospital, balancing her roles as caregiver, teacher, and family leader.

The financial burden of Noah’s medical treatments, emergency medivacs, and inter-island travel has been immense. With Iolani’s family leave nearing its end, the situation has become even more challenging.

We are humbly asking for your support to help ease the financial strain on the Kuoha ‘ohana during this difficult time. Your contributions will go toward:

• Funding emergency medivac and inter-island travel expenses.

• Assisting with daily living costs for the family as Iolani balances caregiving and her teaching responsibilities.

Noah and Iolani have given so much to their family, friends, and community, always offering their love, guidance, and aloha. Now, they need our help to navigate this challenging chapter.
