The last Life of Pikelet $24 challenge of 2024

Before we get into it, our goal this last time for 2024 is for 1000 generous peeps to donate $24 each to help Patty finish the year with his chemo & surgery treatments covered and to pay of the remaining amount left for Pikelet Butterwiggle's end of life expenses.

Patty Cakes is now fighting string on his own without his big brother by his side.

It's been three weeks since Patty blast went to chemo and for the first time since his stage 5 lymphoma diagnosis, Patty is finally putting on weight and gaining back some energy.

Friday the 22nd with be Patty's first chemotherapy treatment since his big brother passed away from anaemia. It'll be a somber day as the boys would often go to the hospital together, be crated together and have their treatments together. Now, it's just Patty.

This last fund raiser to raise $24,000 before the end of 2024, will cover the rest of Patty's chemotherapy until the new year. It'll also cover the surgery Patty needs to have a few lumps removed, a mast cell tumour removed and a foreign body in the pad of one of Patty's toe beans removed.

If we can raise our goal quickly, it'll mean we can also purchase the $400 per week of supplements and vitamins that Patty takes and needs to keep his body healthy and fighting the cancer.

There is about $8000 left of overdue expenses left from Pikelet's end of life care, with your generosity, we hope to cover these expenses.

As with all of this fundraising, your help with funding these two rescue dogs has meant that I can still maintain the extreme weekly expenses of running Life of Pikelet Rescue without my boys having to have forgone chemotherapy.

Because of your support, Pikelet was gifted 6 months of end of life where he was treated like the king he was. He got to have last adventures, last cheese burgers, last sleeping and cuddles with his Ma, lasts of many. Thank you for that gift of love that you all provided a little old pound puppy.
