My name is Lama Abu Shahla, an 18-year-old Palestinian girl. I once dreamed of becoming an architect and building a bright future, but the war on Gaza has left us with nothing but destruction and suffering.

This picture is not just ruins; it is my life, completely shattered.

In an instant, our home turned into scattered stones, leaving us homeless, without food, clean water, or safety. We can no longer even dream of a better future. We sleep in the open air, struggling to survive each day under unbearable conditions.

My Family Is in Danger... We Need Your Help

We were a simple family of six, living with hope, but the war has taken everything from us. My grandparents suffer from chronic illnesses and require continuous treatment, but with the collapse of the healthcare system, their condition worsens daily. My siblings can no longer go to school, and I lost my university, which was completely destroyed in the bombings.

Why Am I Asking for Your Help?

I don’t want to lose my family to homelessness, hunger, or illness, and I don’t want my dream to be buried under the rubble. We need a safe home to rebuild our lives, but we have nothing left, and the economic situation prevents us from recovering on our own.
