The Lemon Tree Short Film

Hi everyone, we're raising funds to get our short film into production!

Synopsis: After the recent passing of their loved one, a broken family must agree on funeral arrangements for their father but the granddaughter is curiously seeing him very much alive.

I wrote this drama/comedy with my own family in mind as it touches upon the complexities of familial love and loss influenced heavily by my Mexican-American background.

Our goal is to raise enough money to fund our project throughout all production stages. We estimate that a majority of our costs (10k) will go towards covering crew wages, equipment rentals, securing locations, costumes, permits, and crafty. The other part of the costs will be reserved for post-production costs ($5k) like editor, colorist, and film festival fees.
