The Lepore Family

Zach and Jamie started their family five years ago when they adopted their beloved pups (and actual sisters) Cali and Penelope. Their son Rhodes affectionately calls them his "sissies" and the pair have become treasured members of the Lepore clan. Unfortunately, Penelope has be plagued with health issues for the past few months and on Friday, January 13th, they learned that she had a large mass on her kidney which had gone undiscovered despite numerous vet visits and lab tests since the fall. Penelope was rushed into surgery that very evening and her kidney as well as most of the mass was removed. Sadly, while they were prepping her for surgery, another mass was found on one of her lungs. Penelope is home now and recovering but Zach and Jamie are awaiting a consult with an oncologist to determine what further action can be taken to give them, their son, and her sister Cali a little more time with their sweet girl. As many of you pet owners know, the bills for Penelope's recent vet visits, tests, and now surgery have been overwhelming to say the least. These costs will only increase if Penelope is a candidate for chemotherapy.
