The Life and Legacy of Haiden Davis

Donation protected
There are few people in this world like Haiden Davis. His immense musical talent, his deep love for the environment, and his ability to bring compassion and laughter to everyone he met were truly one of a kind.

Haiden was a gifted violinist who began with classical training, eventually discovering his passion for music production and jazz. In Denver, Colorado, he co founded the Latin jazz band Ojo De Luna and continued to share his music around the world — from Colorado and Oregon to Costa Rica and Cuba. Wherever he went, Haiden left an unforgettable impact through his deep capacity for love, connection, and his irresistible, chaotic humor. There was truly no one like him, and his absence is felt beyond words.

Haiden also bravely struggled with mental health challenges and substance use throughout his life. On March 12, 2025, at just 26 years old, Haiden died by suicide. We want to speak openly about this — because so many musicians (and non-musicians alike) face similar battles, often without access to the support they deserve.

In Haiden’s honor, we are fundraising to support organizations that provide critical mental health and substance use resources to those in need.

MusiCares is one of the organizations we are supporting. They provide a vital safety net for the music community, offering:

Mental Health & Addiction Recovery Services: Financial assistance for counseling, psychiatric care, inpatient treatment, sober living, and more.

Health Services: Medical crisis support, dental and medical screenings, hearing clinics, and vocal health programs.

Human Services: Help with basic living expenses, affordable housing, career development, and more during times of hardship.

100% of proceeds from this GoFundMe will be donated to MusiCares and other organizations offering mental health support. We will also be contributing to the newly established Haiden Davis Scholarship Fund for CU Denver’s LYNX Camp — the very camp that helped ignite Haiden’s love for music and performing. Through this scholarship, we hope to empower other young musicians to follow their dreams, just as Haiden did.

If you or someone you love is struggling with mental health or substance use, please know you are not alone. Resources like MusiCares, AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention), and TWLOHA (To Write Love On Her Arms) are available to offer support.

Thank you for helping us honor Haiden’s legacy — through music, compassion, and the hope of healing for others.
