The life of Ivan Perez

Ivan Perez enjoyed making people laugh. He was charismatic, amiable, and had a spark of joy. This is how we choose to remember him. Those that knew him would attest to his intelligence and kindness. In high school, he was a studious athlete who cared as much about school as he did about his friends. He often gave others advice or offered to tutor friends, especially in math. He loved to analyze and often held meaningful conversations about books or life.

Although he used humor to diffuse situations, he was mature and kindhearted. He loved those around him fiercely. He protected his family and friends and wanted everyone to be cared for without asking anything in return. He was a friend to many, someone who was there to listen and to offer advice. Most importantly, he was a son, a brother, a husband, and a father to four beautiful children. He loved his children unconditionally and was happiest when he was with them.

To us, he will always be the friendly, brilliant, short bigoton, Ivan!
