So, many of you know my mom, Karen Cooper. Well, we have reached a point where she is ready for me to share her news. At the beginning of September, she had a mental health crisis where 911 was called. She was transported to hospital in Rolla, MO. After a bunch of labs and scans, we have learned that mom’s cancer is back. This time, it has spread. It is now in her lungs and in her brain. If you all know my mom, she is a fighter, and all her girls (including me) learned our strength from her. However, while she did 5 strong rounds of radiation, ultimately, she is living out the remainder of her life doing things she loves to do and spending her time with us girls and her grandbabies. However, being the oldest, I know her wishes and will do my best to fulfill those. I am not one to ever ask for money much less help, because I have always been the go-to for my sisters. However, I am asking now for help because I want to know that when the time comes, it is one less part of this I must stress about, which will allow me to be there for my sisters when they will need me most. Any help is appreciated, or if not, leave a memory of my mom so we can keep her memory alive when she is gone.
