The Life Of Willie Smith & The Journey Of Defeating Cancer

This Journey I share with family in tow, with A promise of greatness for this I know! My first born son who carries my name (Willie Smith Jr) I am so proud of Lil Willie! Always ready to share A smile or A joke, (like me) A true artist with many talents! Love you son!

Life's hard work had began with many challenges in sight. These challenges I shared with the love of my life (Joy), my sidekick. She became my wife, all through our life the love and joy she has shared without any despair, we vowed side by side, raised our heads high to continue our journey without any doubt counting our blessings each and everyday! I love you JoyJoy! More then you will ever know! My family all grown with families of their own, my grand babies Aaliyah and Journee these blessings are known!

Our daughter Joy (my baby girl, Scootie). A gift from above. Known for her contagious smile, A heart of gold and compassion for all. Our Mother's Day blessing, I am so proud of! No surprise she has dedicated her life to helping others in the medical field at Stanford Hospital. Her loving and devoted husband Andre, now our son. Always helping and cracking A joke making sure we all have fun! I love you daughter and son!

Our son Matthew (Buggie) named by his sissy. She chose his name because it means gift from God, that he is! Buggie because he loved to follow and bug her growing up! ❤️

Matthew has always lived up to his name with greatness! He has devoted his life to his beautiful wife Jade (our 2nd daughter) and their two beautiful children Aaliyah (Lee Lee) and Journee (JuJu).

I am very proud of Matthew as he has dedicated his life to serving and helping others in The United States Army. I love you son and daughter! So many blessings to be proud of!

My loving and crazy sis Janice was the best sister I could have asked for! She was always there for me and the best dance partner around! My sis was the best and although I miss her everyday now she must rest. Her loving daughter and my beloved niece Star will continue the journey and grow the family nest. Star, Celace, Emanuel (Jr), Mikayla, Alieha and Donivan will welcome in the grand and great-grandchildren, and will keep my sis and her spiritalie! My loving family, I love you all! It doesn't end there.

To auntie Laura, uncle Phillip, Tim, Nathan, Katelynn, auntie Julie, uncle Peter, PJ, Colleen and their beautiful families, you are always in my prayers.

A very proud husband, father, grandpa, uncle, brother and friend! This has been the best 73 years God could have blessed me with!

In my 50 plus years in shoe repair I have saved many soles and heeled many too! With A joke and A smile! Many customers over the years who return new friends! Our memories are shared, I thank you for this! Cancer is NOT my end! Difficult roads can lead to beautiful destinations. There is hope beyond what you see! Cancer is A word not A sentence! I will continue my journey with A hug, A kiss, and your well wish!
