The Little Princess Trust - hair because we care

Inspired by one of our players (Hannah) that does this frequently! As a team we'd like to donate our hair in the summer towards the Little Princess Trust to be able create wigs free of charge to over 2,000 children and young people who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other conditions.

Once we started down this journey and learn more about this amazing Trust, we found it costs over £700 to make each individual wig. That being said we wanted to go a little further and not only donate our hair but attempt to raise some money all at the same time.

So the date has been set - the 8th of September is the official Big Chop! We have an afternoon of rugby to enjoy with the girl’s under 18s & 16s and the boys colts teams from 2pm onwards.

We’ll have a full fundraising day planned throughout with bbq, raffle, cake sales, karaoke and more….

Not forgetting our lovely Simon getting involved with the ladies in cutting his hair, he hasn’t had a haircut in over 25yrs! Yet is doing this extraordinary act of kindness to raise funds.

Becky and Katie will also be doing their huge 3 peaks climbs over the highest mountains in North Africa.

So much is planned!
