Hi Friends & Family,

My name is Lauren Lockard and I am Phil Lockards wife of almost 7 years. Some of you know this and many do not, on July 1, 2023 Phillip was found unresponsive by his father. He suffered 2 strokes and a heart attack. Phillip was taken to AdventHealth Waterman ER and was taken to ICU shortly after. In ICU they discovered he has kidney and liver failure and within 2 days started him on dialysis. Throughout the month of July he was moved around the hospital to 3 other floors, spending his last 2 weeks in rehabilitation learning how to walk again and doing dialysis treatment 3-4 hours a day. Due to the stroke, Phillip has suffered from drop foot. He is now using a walker to get around our home and a brace on his right leg and uses a cane when we are outside our home. He started physical therapy last week and he will be doing that 3-4 times a week for the foreseeable future. I am working full time but without Phillips income for the past 6 weeks it has been a struggle and the medical bills are starting to pile up.

I am not one to ask for help, I am resourceful and creative but I’ve hit a dead end. Phillip and I pray everyday that he will be healthy enough to return to work in a few months.
