What should have been a wonderful family vacation turned into a tragedy.

On Wednesday, July 5, Tim and his family were swimming in Rice Lake. The wind picked up and their floaty blew further away in the wind. In an attempt to retrieve it, Tim struggled and slipped away under the water. A couple hours later his body was recovered by search and rescue.

Tim was an amazing father, husband and friend. He was always willing to lend a hand.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and community.
