The loss of Kaitlin Hudson, mother to 3.

I just wanted to update and let you know how much we appreciate all of the condolences and prayers you have sent our way. It is not possible to convey the emotions we are walking through, not just from our loss but from all of the love that you have shared for Kaitlin. Your photos, memories and sympathies are a huge comfort.

Over this last weekend 4 families got notifications that their lives and loved ones

were being given the gift of life. Four families grieved for an unknown young woman who gave selflessly to the very end, while feeling a gratitude they also cannot convey with words.

Our hearts are broken, but also full.

Grief.

Our family is in the midst of it.

My name is Tiana Dawson Rehe and my wonderful sister, Naomi and brother in law, Danny are facing the loss of their beloved daughter, Kaitlin Hudson. Kaitlin fell into a diabetic coma last Sunday, October 22nd. She has been in ICU since then. The doctors have done a multitude of tests, and repeat tests.

We are broken hearted, but Kaitlin does not have blood flow to the brain and we are releasing her to her Heavenly Father. While we are losing Kaitlin, she will be one of the rare organ donors that will be able to bring life to others.

Kaitlin has 3 beautiful children years, 9, 6 and 3, and they need additional care and comfort. Naomi and Danny have a heavy financial weight to carry, along with the loss of their daughter.

This fundraiser is to ask for any financial assistance that can be given to ease their burdens. We know they will give everything of themselves they can, but we are hoping to raise the funds to cover Kaitlin’s funeral costs and any additional funds will go to the short term and long term care of her 3 babies.
