The Loss of Matthew Levi Smith's Family

Hi, my name is Shawna Hayman. I am a cousin of Matthew Smith.

Matthew was a spectacular happy healthy boy, a joy to be around and just an 18-year-old kid. He was an employee of QT and loved his job, he was getting ready to go to college and couldn't wait for that moment. He was a 2022 Graduate of the Sand Springs Sandites, He was on the Sandites football team for the past few years, and he had a best friend that loved him more than anything, plus tons of other friends from football, school, church to work and anyone he would meet. He always had a smile on his face and would seriously help anyone out that he could. Matthew was a momma's boy and he knew it. Matthew was also a member of the Church that Matters in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.

On December 28, 2022, Matthew was killed at 10:30 p.m. This was a complete total shock to Matthew's family, At this time I am unable to give a lot of information on this other than what has already been mentioned.

Clark and Teresa Boyd are grieving the loss of their son, they are having to bury their 18-year-old son which no parent should have to do. Family and Friends have all come together to help these parents and siblings as much as they can. We all know how much of a financial burden planning for a funeral plus other things can be to a family at a time like this.

After the death of their son, they are still having to pay for 2 homes plus other bills plus medical, and funeral expenses.

So please if you can please please help this family out. Anything at all will help.
