On April 6th, a life long resident of Somerset and Franklin High School graduate, Nicole Barker, tragically passed away at the tender age of 36. With this unexpected passing, Nicole leaves behind the most precious gift she ever received, her son Colin. Nicole was a single parent and worked hard to provide for Colin and his future. Colin is an Honor Roll student and avid basketball player, playing for Franklin High School and AAU.
Many have wished to express their condolences and have asked how they can help. Nicole's greatest wish was to have Colin continue on his present path to educational success.
