The loss of our father Benson Wong (Teng Moua)
Donation protected
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that on Saturday October 29th, 2022, we loss my father. He had a myocardial infarction.
My father may go by his original name Teng or Tony (easier for people to pronounce). He and my mother have devoted the last 25+ years to farming and have helped the Milwaukee, Oak Creek and Menomonee Falls communities with fresh organic produce.
He was a hard working father and loved to help those in need. He loved to push his children to be the best and do the best that they can.
My father was the oldest in his family. He left his family in Laos in the 1980s and crossed the Mekong River on his own to go to Thailand. He was able to come to the US to have a new beginning and to better his life.
Benson Wong is survived by his loving wife; Mai Yang Moua, his 6 children; Tony Moua, Anna Moua, Richard Moua, Lisa Moua (Kou Vang), Ying Pao Moua, and Mike Moua, and his 3 grandchildren; Adrian Yang, Mia Vang and Owen Vang.
Life will never be the same without him and our family will be forever changed. He will be missed dearly and never forgotten.
We would like to send my father to heaven as best as we can. Any donations will be appreciated as it will help my family cover the expenses of a Hmong traditional funeral which will be long and exhausting. But will help comfort our hearts that we have done the best we can to send him off. Even if you cannot donate, please help us share our dad's life story and spread our father's love all around in remembrance of him.
