The Loucks Lost Their Home

Imagine sleeping soundly in your home one night when you're awakened to absolute terror. Smoke fills your home as a fire rapidly begins to spread, with your children sleeping in various rooms around the house. You scramble to get to everyone quickly and rush out the door with nothing left to do but watch your entire home engulfed in flames...

This scene is precisely what the Loucks family experienced last night. Kevin and Blakelyn scrambled to get their three boys (ages 10, 8, and 6) out of the house in the dead of night.

Thankfully, the family got out with only minor scrapes and bruises, but with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Sadly, the family's beloved St. Bernard dogs, Halpert and Fern, did not make it out in time.

The financial damage they are facing is overwhelming. They lost EVERYTHING: their dream home, furniture, clothing, sentimental belongings, school supplies...everything.

In the aftermath of this disaster, many things need to be done. First, the Loucks need $10,000 for their insurance deductible. The rest of our goal will be to get them their basic needs again.

Please, if you can donate anything to this beautiful family, it would be appreciated. Mourning the loss of your family home and consoling young children through this is hard enough. Getting all the pieces of their life back together will take a lot of time and help.
