On February 14, 2018, Luke Thomas Hoyer was among 17 students and staff members tragically killed in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, FL. Over 1 year later, this horrific event still has an impact today.
In his memory, the Luke Hoyer Athletic Fund was created as a non-profit organization to help cover the costs of sports gear for children in need.
As we are reminded of everything we have to be thankful for with Thanksgiving approaching right around the corner, I would like to ask each of you to please donate to this special fund.
My name is Isabella Martin and I am a 2018 graduate of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. I currently attend school at the University of Central Florida with Luke Hoyer's older brother, Jake Hoyer.
100% of the donations will go directly to the Luke Hoyer Athletic Fund.
Luke's spirit will live on in the smiles of the children helped through this fund.
