The Lyons Family Adoption Fund

Hello! Our names are Philip and Katelyn. If you know us, then you know that we want to start a family more than anything! Currently, we both teach, lead middle school youth groups at church, and work with a nonprofit that grants wishes to kids. Philip also coaches multiple sports at the middle school level, which is one of the things he loves doing the most! Needless to say, we love to pour into the kids in our community. It brings us great joy to work with the kids in our community, and we are ready to pour just as much love and energy into our own children!

We were told several years ago that, due to medical reasons, adoption or IVF would be our best route of having children. We know there are so many sweet children out there who are in need of stable, loving, nurturing homes, so we have decided to adopt! This being our first time adopting, we would like to go the route of domestic newborn adoption through a private agency. Naturally, the cost of the adoption is very high and will be our biggest obstacle in starting our family. The cost we are fundraising for will help us cover the costs of legal fees, birth mother expenses, marketing fees, agency fees, and other miscellaneous adoption expenses. We can't wait until the near future when we will get to meet our precious little bundle of joy. We appreciate any help in making this adoption happen!
