The Macola Family’s Journey to Recovery in midst of tragedy

Hello our beloved Morgantown/South park community families,

It is with a heavy heart that we are reaching out to you today in aid to assist our family in recently suffering a devastating house fire that has left me, my fiancé and children experiencing homelessness and in desperate need. Wednesday morning was a detrimental morning for our family as we lost everything in the fire that started in the basement of the house, due to an electrical fire started by the fuse box. Thank God, no human lives were lost during the fire, but we did lose our sweet fur-baby and ESA pup. (REN)

Our family, like most, had dreams, hopes, and plans for the future. Unfortunately, this sudden disaster has taken a toll on all of our lives, hopes, and dreams. The fire not only consumed our home but also every single personal belonging we cherished including memories, and our sense of security. It's a stark reminder of how quickly life can change and how important family, friends, and the community impact and support can be in these terrible circumstances.

We have started a campaign to raise funds in our time of need. Our goal is to help secure temporary housing, replace essential personal items, and eventually rebuild our lives. In this endeavor, every penny counts and no contribution is too small. We are hopeful that with your generosity, we possibly can start a new chapter in our lives, one filled with hope and a rainbow at the end of this storm.
