The MARA Unit at Bishop Auckland Hospital
Donation protected
This year, I’ve set myself a personal challenge: to complete the Great North Run for the very first time.
To help keep me motivated and focused, I’ll be raising money for a cause incredibly close to my heart.
As many of you know, my Dad has been battling cancer for the past three years—not once, not twice, but three times. Throughout this journey, he has continued to receive chemotherapy every two weeks at the MARA Unit at Bishop Auckland Hospital.
The nurses at the MARA Unit are true unsung heroes. They go above and beyond every single day to support patients and make them feel at ease during one of the most difficult times in their lives. Their compassion and dedication have meant the world to my family, and especially to my Dad.
That’s why I’m hoping to raise as much as possible for the MARA Unit—our way of saying thank you to the incredible team who continue to care for him.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. Thank you so much for your support.
