Unfortunately, I was with the family last night and they are facing the exorbitant cost of in home nursing care. Nursing care will begin today at full out of pocket cost. As of right now, health insurance will not cover. This support is imperative to ensure Ricks comfort and safety.

There are too many words to describe Rick. The first ones that come to mind are loving, sincere and caring. For all of you that know him, I’m sure you can list many many more.
Rick is the type of person that takes the time to get to know everyone. From the person behind the counter at the supermarket, to the person helping him shop for supplies at Home Depot, to the people in our town hall. If he met you, he wanted to get to know you. He would talk to you, and before you knew it, you knew about his family and he yours. Because he considered you just that.
As most of you know, he was diagnosed with terminal ALS. Because of this illness, he has had to close his business. Funny thing about Rick, he was more concerned about his clients and his workers when he closed and what they were going to do, and if he was letting them down. This is the kind of man that he is.
Unfortunately, the medical expenses are getting the best of them. Medications, in-home care, and unfortunately since his time is extremely limited, what may come in the near future.
If you can help this family, it is greatly appreciated. I can say I am so blessed to have had this amazing family come into my life.
