In Memory: Marcus Campbell Family
Donation protected
This site is sponsored by friends of Bishop Marcus Campbell to raise funds for his family who have just lost a loving father and husband. Bishop Marcus passed away on July 1, 2023 due to cardio-pulmonary failure, surrounded by family and loved ones. Bishop is survived by his wife Stacy and 5 children. Bishop was a servant of those most in need and we are asking the community to support his family in their time of greatest need.
Bishop was the Senior Pastor at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church on Monroe Street in Nashville, TN. He believed that he was created to serve and lived his life according to that belief. He saw a need for youth in his community and started a summer camp to provide a safe place called United For Our Youth Summer Enrichment Camp, serving over two hundred youth each summer. Bishop was also the Founder of the Gentlemen And Not Gangsters Youth Diversion Mentoring Program which has shown it’s success through the young men and young women that have been overcomers. Because of this program, The GRIP Team at juvenile court in Nashville, TN received an award. G.A.N.G. was the first program in the USA to have a juvenile gang court as well. Although Bishop Marcus was active in spreading love, the church was and is very poor and unable to provide financially for the family after his death. So there is a real need to honor the great work of Bishop Marcus now that he is gone by supporting his family legacy.
