The Maria Ruiz Memorial Fund

Hi my name is Roberto Hernandez and we are raising funds to donate my Big Sister Maria’s funaral expanses. Maria was a wonderful big sister who helped raise me when I was a child while our Mother worked. Her sweet life was cut short by a house fire at her home. My Sister did not hesitate to help others like myself when I had just returned from Iraq after deployment in the Gulf War, Desert Shield / Desert Storm with helping me get me back on my feet. Any donation large or small, is so meaningful to us because it will be in Maria’s name and will carry on her memory. This is a time of Heartbreak and mourning for all of us and any donation will help make my Sister Maria a meaningful memorial. She was our Big Sister and I looked up to Her. We are forever grateful for anything you choose to contribute. Her quote to me when I would joke with her was “Shatupa you! “ Love you Sis.
