The Marr family

Lisa, Tony and their 3 young children are a local family. Last week while standing at the back of his fish merchants van, Tony was crushed by a car, badly damaging both of his legs leaving him in hospital and having to undergo numerous operations. 1 of his legs has had rods to pin it together and is held in place with a metal cage which he will have to have on for 9 months to 1 year, after this will come rehabilitation. As Tony is self employed he now has no wage coming in and although he should receive compensation, this may take a long time to sort out. Lisa is still on maternity leave as their youngest is only a small baby so she is only receiving maternity pay. Both Tony and Lisa do a lot for the community in their own time, Lisa runs the local parent and toddler group which is a very popular community resource and Tony is a member of our local lifeboat. I would love for our community to help this family out so they can worry about Tony recovering without all the added stress of paying a mortgage and feeding their children, anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated.
