Hi, my name is Benna Lehrer. I have been friends with Laura for the last 9 years. We go to the same church and happen to have kids the same ages.

Laura’s husband, Paul, recently passed away after a four and a half year battle with a variety of cancers. Unfortunately as Laura and her children experience the emotional loss of being without Paul, they are also dealing with financial stressors.

Recently, Laura has received bills both associated with Paul’s illness but also just bills associated with just regular responsibilities. Some examples include car repair, funeral expenses and medical procedures for Paul.

Laura is stalwartly managing so much - grief in the death of a beloved husband, creating a beautiful passing for her family, as well as continuing the life they built for their children. These donations will ease some of the her load as she sorts through the financial 'end-of-life' maze and allow the family the mental space to grieve for Paul.
